After two weeks of performances, she got praise from the audience. The production was recognized as the best production by Canadian the critics. Contractor was given the chance to join Stratford's conservatory, where the top eight men and four women are accepted for a 20-week crash course on the classical stage that she eagerly took. She was scheduled to perform in the following play-season was confirmed and she got the part of Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
